Description

You’ll love this AIP-friendly marinade over chicken wings.


Ingredients

  • 12 chicken wings (with skin on) (1080 g)
  • salt
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) of coconut aminos
  • 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) of honey
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons (6 g) of garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons (3 g) of ginger paste
  • sea salt flakes
  • cilantro, to garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 355°F (180°C).
  2. Spread the wings on a large roasting tray, season with salt, and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, whisk together the coconut aminos, honey, olive oil, garlic and ginger pastes in a small bowl.
  4. After 15 minutes, remove from the oven and brush the marinade onto the wings. Bake for another 5 minutes.
  5. After 5 minutes, remove from the oven. Increase oven temperature to max. Baste wings again (you may not use up all the marinade) and return to oven for 5 another minutes.
  6. Season with sea salt flakes and garnish with cilantro.
